For me, it's the UK and a chance to catch up with friends and family, but there will be some work related things along the way.
Yesterday I was lucky enough to get down to Roadford reservoir in Devon to witness the final of the Schools Marine Challenge.
This project involves students at Key Stage 3/4 engineering scale model boats to perform across three different categories; solar, electric and methanol.
The racing is spectacular at times, but the lasting impression is how hard the teams have worked to get to race day and of course, how much ICT is playing an ever increasing role in the D&T curriculum.
Well done to Teignmouth Community College who were the overall winners.
What chance we could hold a similar event on Pokfulam Reservoir!?

I'm sure there would be some starters for a competition like this!
I'm not on holiday yet - I've got the fun of trying out all the new equipment for next year at school. This response is being done on one of the new laptops for next year's Year 7 - very nice too!
